Italian gaming affiliate ASAP Italia and sports data provider Sportradar have expanded their partnership to allow the companies to develop the European daily fantasy sports (DFS) market and expand their presence throughout Europe.

Sportradar already has a partnership with ASAP Italia, providing them with data and statistics for their Superscommess.it Italian facing odds comparison site. Under the terms of the new agreement, Sportradar will expand their partnership to support ASAP Italia’s daily fantasy site, Sportito.co.uk. The platform currently operates under a gambling license from the UK, but the companies aim to launch the expanded platform in new regulated markets, such as Italy.

This agreement will allow Sportradar to tap into the DFS market in Europe, which the company believes has a ‘bright future’. Currently, DFS is most popular in the US gambling market.

Sportito provides daily fantasy sports with users able to spend as little as £2 to enter DFS contests that award real money daily prizes. There are also free-to-enter competitions which are ideal for those who are simply looking for a bit of fun or who are looking for ways to improve their skill and strategy.

Currently, Sportito offers contests which cover more than forty football leagues. They are planning to expand in the near future with the launch of contests covering rugby, American football, baseball and basketball.

The expanded partnership with Sportradar will also improve ASAP Italia’s other products, including Bettingrunner and Supernews.

“The implementation and enhancement of Sportradar products within the group will enable the development of important new businesses and projects, such as Bettingrunner.com, the international marketplace for betting enthusiasts, and Supernews, the portal dedicated to citizen journalism,” read a corporate statement released by Sportradar last week.
