Retail and online betting markets supplier, SIS, and the Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) have announced a new racing fixture that will be added to their Saturday morning broadcasts from Tralee greyhound stadium.

The new fixture will include eight races and they will begin on Saturday, March 4 at 9:11am. As part of SIS’s exclusive broadcasting, the new fixture will become available for Irish and UK betting shops, as well as online operators. Later races will correspond to the existing SIS greyhound coverage for retail shops from Crayford Greyhound Stadium and Romford Greyhound Stadium.

This fixture will be added to SIS’s exclusive streaming portfolio which already includes three other fixtures – one at Tralee Racecourse on Tuesday evenings, a fixture at Youghal Park Greyhound Stadium on Monday evenings and one at Mullingar Park Greyhound Track on Sunday afternoons. Their current coverage, as well as coverage of the new meeting will be facilitated by SIS Stream, their best in class low latency streaming platform.

“This gives us further opportunity to showcase our racing product to the SIS audience and to build on the success of the three meetings currently being broadcast throughout Ireland and the UK,” stated Joe Lewins at the IGB.

SIS’s exclusive coverage includes horse racing and greyhounds with their greyhound offering being the most comprehensive in the market with 30,000 races annually.

“We have added a second fixture from Tralee to our retail and online programs, following customer demand for greater coverage at suitable times and we see the Saturday morning slot as one of those times,” announced Paul Witten, commercial director at SIS.

“SIS endeavour to offer premium content and streaming provision across all bookmaker channels and the new deal will complement this, thanks to the help of the IGB.”
