Stockholm-listed casino software provider, Net Entertainment, has expanded into the regulated igaming market by launching their games through a partnership with the Bulgarian National Lottery.

A selection of NetEnt’s award-winning games have been launched, including Dracula, Jimi Hendrix, Pyramid Quest for Immortality and more. The games have been launched on the lottery’s 7777.bg site, further expanding NetEnt’s footprint within the regulated European market.

“Expansion on regulated markets is an important part of our growth strategy and I am very pleased that our popular online games are now live and available in Bulgaria,” said Enrico Bradamante, chief of European Market Operations and managing director of NetEnt Malta Ltd.

National Lottery Bulgaria primarily offers scratch cards, the most common type of game in Bulgaria, in the land-based gaming market; however since re-regulation of the market in the country not long ago, the lottery operator has launched an online casino product and has selected NetEnt as their exclusive partner.

“As a market leader in Bulgaria, National Lottery is always delivering the best possible products to its customers. We recognise NetEnt as a stable partner, producing high quality games fitting perfectly into our gaming concept for entertainment. National Lottery Bulgaria’s customer base has over 2 million registered players and we hope that all of them will enjoy our new product,” stated Milen Ganev, chief executive of National Lottery Bulgaria.

This is the third new jurisdiction that NetEnt has entered this month alone. At the beginning of the month, NetEnt signed a distribution deal with Codere, the Spanish gaming company that has allowed it to enter the Mexican gaming market. In the middle of the month, it expanded into the Portuguese gaming market, launching its games in Portugal in partnership with French gaming operator, Betclic Everest Group.
