Swedish online casino software provider, Net Entertainment, has completed the integration and gone live with a selection of its games on the Rank Group’s online casino network.

The two companies signed a distribution deal in June this year that allowed them to launch their games across the Rank network including via Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca brands. A range of some of NetEnt’s most popular and latest casino games will now be available for Rank Group customers.

“NetEnt has a proven track record in the UK market and we look forward to extending our offering with games from its portfolio that we know will resonate well with our players,” commented Ciara Nic Liam, head of casino and games at Rank Digital.

This deal was part of NetEnt’s strategy to expand further into the UK gaming market. Grosvenor Casino owns and operates the largest chain of land-based casinos in the UK, while Mecca is one of the top providers of bingo in the UK. Rank also operates the Enracha brand in Spain. NetEnt games will now have significantly further reach in the regulated UK and European gaming markets.

“I am delighted to enter into this partnership that will further drive growth for us in the important UK market,” stated Enrico Bradamante, chief of European market operations for NetEnt. “I am confident that we can support Rank in growing its digital business and that our award-winning games will be much appreciated by Rank’s customers.”

This is the latest in a string of distribution deals that NetEnt has signed this year alone as it continues with its strategy of expansion within regulated gaming markets around the world. It follows a strong interim financial report for the first half of the year with 46 percent increases in after-tax profits.
