Swedish online gambling operator, Mr Green, has rolled out a new online sportsbook this week, in partnership with the Kambi Group. The sportsbook went live on June 7, which is ahead of schedule and just in time for the start of the Euro 2016 Football Championship which kicks off in Paris on Friday, June 10.

Mr Green announced plans to launch a sportsbook in February and signed an agreement with Kambi in April this year with the sportsbook expected to be launched by autumn; however it is already live and accepting bets for the Euro 2016.

“By launching a sportsbook, we are meeting our customers’ demand for betting and odds,” commented chief executive of Mr Green and Co, Per Norman. “Together we have managed to build the sportsbook in record time thanks to our new, efficient product platform.”

“We have built a sportsbook of the same high quality as our online casino and I’m happy that we can launch the sportsbook ahead of the European Championship.”

Kambi Group is providing a fully managed sportsbook service. It offers an in-play betting feature which is a feature that is much in demand. The sportsbook has allowed Mr Green to diversify its offering as it previously offered only an online casino to its customers. The sportsbook will be available alongside the casino offering at mrgreen.com where it will be accessible to players around the world.

“I’m proud that Kambi, together with Mr Green, have successfully empowered Mr Green to launch its sportsbook ahead of schedule,” announced chief executive of the Kambi Group, Kristian Nylén.

“Our agile integration capability will allow Mr Green to benefit from the upcoming European Championship and offer its customers a personalised sports betting experience.”
