UK-based betting company, Ladbrokes, has extended its broadcasting partnership deal with Satellite Information Services (SIS). Under the terms of the four-year extension, SIS have exclusive track and broadcasting rights for two Ladbrokes-owned greyhound tracks, Monmore and Crayford.

SIS delivers live racing, together with data and commentary from Irish and UK greyhound tracks and racecourses via multiple channels. Through this deal with Ladbrokes to broadcast for its greyhound tracks in Wolverhampton and London, the SIS Greyhound Service coverage will be further extended throughout Ireland and the UK. The reach of live greyhound racing will be extended with the SIS Stream service.

“We’re pleased to be extending our partnership with SIS at Monmore and Crayford and working closely to promote greyhound racing within LBOs and to online customers,” announced head of stadia for Ladbrokes, Richard Brankley.

“Developing the greyhound offering is a high priority for us and, while schedules will remain the same in the short-term, we’re excited for the opportunities that SIS can deliver to ensure that our hugely popular tracks continue to offer industry-leading prize money, along with the security of a long-term deal for trainers and owners.”

SIS and Ladbrokes have had a partnership for the last 28 years and the extension of the deal will take them through to 2020.

“We’ve been working with Ladbrokes for more than 28 years and we’re pleased to announce this partnership, which will ensure we take our long-standing relationship to well over three decades,” stated commercial director of SIS, Paul Witten.

“We will continue to deliver our high-quality reliable broadcast SIS Greyhound Services at Monmore and Crayford, while further developing our greyhound offering to include more products and growing online reach. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead for SIS, Ladbrokes and the wider greyhound industry.”
