Yggdrasil Gaming, the game development branch of Cherry, is getting ready to roll out their latest game feature, game mechanic Fusion Realms, which aims to create an immersive slot experience for players.
The feature allows different reels sets and features to be combined into a single game, resulting in a number of different worlds within one game. In other words, this feature can move between different reel set-ups and environments within one game title.
This new feature joins a list of industry-firsts from the game developer and it joins BOOST, its in-game collection of promotional tools and BRAG, its social media sharing tool. Yggdrasil believes that this new feature is revolutionary in the igaming industry and it has filed an application, which is pending, to patent the technology in the US.
“This is another industry first brought to market by the Yggdrasil team,” announced Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive of Yggdrasil Gaming. “Fusion Games is a new mechanic engine, powered by complex maths, that enables us to create games on a totally new level, with more dimensions and added depth.”
“As a result, we can offer an even more immersive and engaging player experience than ever before. It is a major breakthrough, but just one of many we have lined up for the year.”
The feature will be showcased on Yggdrasil’s upcoming slot, The Jungle Book, which is to be launched later this year. Within the game, the Fusion Realms feature will allow players to choose between five characters, with two individual features each, and to move between five unique game modes, resulting in numerous different ways to win. With 2D and 3D cinematic animations, the game will have Triple A quality graphics.
Yggdrasil showcased its new Fusion Realms feature at ICE Totally Gaming in London last week.
