Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the full rollout of their suite of online and mobile casino slots in the UK market, following them being awarded a gaming license by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) in December 2015.
The company was awarded a license to launch the provider’s iSense2.0 platform with its full suite of gaming content. The provider offers online and mobile casino content which will now be available to its UK players via its partners.
Yggdrasil has already signed partnership deals with six UK operators including Betsson, ComeOn, LeoVegas, Mr Green, Unibet and Vera&John. While Betsson has been granted a UK gaming license, it has not yet begun to accept UK players and their status on the UKGC site is “inactive”.
Yggdrasil expanded significantly late last year when they signed contracts with LeoVegas, Mr Green and Unibet all in the fourth quarter of 2015. They were awarded iGaming Software Supplier of the Year at the 2016 International Gaming Awards and took home the Software Rising Star Award at the 2015 EGR B2B Awards.
“We’re thrilled to be live in the UK, which is now an extremely important market for Yggdrasil,” announced Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive at Yggdrasil. “We’ve had a very encouraging start given that we only received our license at the end of last year and we are already live with some operators.”
“The UK marketplace is the most competitive in Europe, but we have a track record of succeeding in every market we enter and I am confident our industry-leading platform and games will allow us to repeat the trick there.”
Some of the provider’s most popular games which will be available via the launch include Jokerizer, Joker Millions progressive jackpot, Nirvana and Vikings Go Wild.
