Leading supplier of products and services within the online and retail betting markets, SIS, will become the sole provider of racing data for Irish and UK horse racing and greyhound racing after exiting a number of licensing agreements with providers of their race day data.
In order to continue to provide customers with these racing data services, racecourses will need to agree to supply directly through SIS as the racing data will no longer be available through other suppliers. Under the new agreement, SIS will supply race day data from twenty Irish and UK racecourses, UK greyhound racing from 22 tracks, as well as premier International horse races from Germany, Singapore, Dubai and Latin America.
“This is a significant step forward for SIS, enabling more direct interactions with end customers and opening the door for new and exciting services,” commented Paul Witten, commercial director of SIS.
“To facilitate the initiative, our commercial and technical teams are geared up and ready to initiate the new commercial agreements and the required feed integrations. We are in discussions with other providers to agree transitional arrangements to minimise the impact of these changes on affected customers, so all customers can safely and effectively migrate over to the new services.”
Through SIS, customers currently have access to a number of services and products, including early prices and enhanced data services such as form and tipping. In an effort to increase content for the online data market, new services will be added late next year, including in-running data which will offer significant new betting options. Also to become available next year will be live streaming from the UK, Dubai, Singapore and Latin America through the SIS Stream platform, with Ireland to become available shortly after.
