UK-based provider of virtual sports, mobile games and SBG video lottery products, Inspired Gaming Group, has signed an agreement with Swedish casino software provider, Net Entertainment, to distribute their casino game content via the supplier’s retail network.
Under the terms of the agreement, Inspired will distribute land-based versions of NetEnt’s online gaming content via their Open Gaming API technology through more than 10,000 UK SBG video lottery terminals (VLTs) to the UK retail market.
NetEnt’s game titles will be rolled out across Inspired’s SBG B3 terminals which are located in more than 3,000 licensed betting offices across the UK. Inspired has announced that there are more than 150 game titles that are available via the machines, together with gaming content from more than thirty third-party providers.
“This deployment exemplifies the open capabilities of Inspired’s leading omni-channel platform which has the power to deliver significant volumes of content to global end-points reliably and efficiently,” stated Lee Gregory, chief commercial officer for video lottery terminals at Inspired.
“Inspired prides itself on being at the forefront of technical innovation in the global gaming business and the open API platform’s ability to deliver online games from NetEnt content to over 10,000 SBG terminals across the estates of leading UK operators is testament to this.”
“NetEnt is the latest in a long line of third-party developers to launch on the Inspired technology.”
NetEnt has recently been increasing its land-based footprint in the UK, expanding from being an online and mobile-only casino games supplier with a wide range of online slots to signing agreements with retail operators who are now distributing their content via retail outlets. These include top land-based operators in the UK gaming market, such as Paddy Power Betfair and William Hill.
