Canadian online gaming operator, Amaya Inc., has signed an agreement with Edict Egaming, the B2B developer of online gaming software and subsidiary of German provider of entertainment gambling options, Gauselmann. Edict Egaming will provide Amaya with a selection of online versions of its Merkur slots game which will be available via Game Bridge on their PokerStars and Full Tilt websites.
This deal is a continuation of Amaya’s promise to focus on its casual gaming players which it is doing partly by offering more casino and sports betting options. Edict Egaming’s Game Bridge technology will allow Amaya to integrate a range of Merkur slots games to the existing games portfolio of the PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker sites.
Edict Egaming’s content has already proved popular in central Europe where a number of casino, poker and sports betting operators have used Game Bridge to launch the Merkur slots games on their sites. The addition of these games is expected to make PokerStars and Full Tilt more popular in countries such as Croatia, Germany and Poland.
“This will make the casino experience at PokerStars and Full Tilt even more exciting and helps us to deliver on our commitment to offer a wide variety of high quality, fun and thrilling games,” commented director of casino at Amaya, Sam Hobcraft.
Edict Egaming will supply games such as Blazing Star, Jollys Cap and Magic Mirror, all of which are games that are well known for their unique mathematics and special win features that add to their popularity.
“This is a great opportunity for Amaya and Edict to offer a fun new product to their players,” announced chief executive of Edict Egaming, Dominic-Daniel Lienard. “I am sure their large player base will enjoy the unique experience that the Merkur slot games offer.”
