Omni channel gaming services and software provider, Playtech, has launched the 21+3 blackjack games to its Live Casino offering. Playtech licensed the game from London-based games developer, Games Marketing, which has exclusive online rights to the 21+3 game.
21+3 Blackjack is a unique blackjack variation that offers a side bet which combines the classic blackjack game with a poker-type game. The side bet is played on the dealer’s face up card and the player’s first two cards. A player who places the side bet will be paid out if the three cards combine to create a straight, flush, three of a kind, straight flush or suited three of a kind.
The player can win the side bet with enhanced odds and take home wins of up to 100x their original side bet for a suited three of a kind. The game aims to combine two of the most popular casino table games and its addition to Playtech’s already comprehensive live casino offering is expected to attract a wide range of players.
Playtech’s live casino suite already includes classic games such as baccarat, multiple variations of roulette and blackjack, as well as sic bo, poker hold’em and hi-lo. There are more than 500 games titles available from Playtech with more games added regularly to their online, mobile and live casinos.
“The 21+3 side bet is a great addition to the classic live casino blackjack game and puts the excitement of poker into every hand,” said head of live casino innovation at Playtech, Kevin Kilminster. “It will appeal to both those players who are familiar with either card game, as well as new customers who have never played blackjack before, and we’re delighted to offer even more chances to win.”
