Yggdrasil Gaming has expanded their slots portfolio in July with the launch of Rainbow Ryan, their latest video slots game. The game has 4 rows, 6 reels and a whopping 4,096 winning lines. It went live on desktop and mobile platforms on July 24.
The game has an Irish theme, based on a musical leprechaun who goes around playing his Irish bouzouki. The game is set on a beautiful landscape of rolling green hills with the reels spinning on a stage surrounded by large speakers and Ryan standing on the bottom left of the stage.
Rainbow Ryan is full of worthwhile bonus features, most notably the unique synced reels feature. These are known as rainbow reels and can result in between two and six reels randomly becoming synced so that they land with exactly the same symbols for a greater chance of hitting winning combinations.
The Free Spins bonus round can be activated during the base game and awards up to 20 free spins. It always plays with the rainbow reels feature active so that at least two reels are synced on every spin during the feature. In addition, the number of synced reels during the free spins can increase, but can never decrease.
“Rainbow Ryan is a great game in many ways, but its most outstanding feature is the way the game’s soundscape harmonises with the visuals,” commented Jonas Strandman, head of slots at Yggdrasil.
“Our miniature superstar Ryan reacts with rocking tunes to the reels, delivering players a sound experience that’s previously unheard of in slots. It’s a very catchy feature, and at the same time utilises technology that we are developing further for future games.”
With a betting range of 0.50 to 250.00, the game can be enjoyed by players with all bankroll sizes.
