The Romanian gaming regulator, Oficiul Naţional Pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN), has granted Malta-based casino platform provider, Relax Gaming, with a B2B supplier license.
Relax Gaming has become the latest in a string of suppliers to be granted a license from the Romanian regulator. New gambling legislation was passed in 2015 which opened the doors for licensed operators to provide gambling services for residents. In recent months, a number of operators were awarded licenses including two Class II gaming licenses awarded to IGT in August, a Class II license awarded to Play ‘n Go in June and a license to produce and distribute gaming software awarded to iSoftBet in June as well. 888 went live with 888.ro on September 1.
The B2B supplier license awarded to Relax Gaming will allow it to launch its casino games through its Silver Bullet platform which allows for multi-channel game releases. The platform features a range of proprietary games, as well as content from independent game producers including Felt, Fuga Gaming, Genesis Gaming, Push and Quickspin.
The platform makes a range of promotional features available for operators, such as feature triggers and next generation free spins. In addition, it ensures a complete integration and flexibility with API implementation and a quality back office with advanced player reporting and management.
“Moving into new regulated markets is a natural step for Relax and part of our growth strategy, stated chief executive of Relax Gaming, Patrik Österåker. “We are very pleased to have been granted a license in Romania, which is an attractive and growing market for us.”
“The license allows Relax to support our valued partners as they retain and grow their presence in this important jurisdiction.”
