Kindred Group, the Stockholm-listed operator previously known as Unibet Group, has signed an agreement with casino games developer, Realistic Games, to integrate their portfolio of table and slots games to their brands, including Unibet and Maria Casino.
Through the deal, Kindred customers will have access to titles such as their recent releases Crystal Clear and Fireworks, as well as other popular games including Sunset Reels and Super Graphics Upside Down. The games are available for play via desktop or mobile devices.
“Realistic Games have built a formidable reputation on designing and developing some of the best games on the market. We’re very happy to bring these games to our players and are looking forward to them supporting our continued growth in the UK and other key markets,” announced Fredrik Kjell, head of gaming at Kindred.
This deal will allow Realistic Games to expand the reach of their products to other licensed jurisdictions.
“We think it will significantly strengthen Kindred Group’s arm in the UK with content that has been consistently popular among British players and for us it’s a fantastic chance to showcase our games to large new audiences in the Nordics and beyond,” stated Andy Harris, chief executive of Realistic Games.
“We’re very confident the players will love the content and will get a lot of enjoyment out of it, whether they choose to play the games on their desktop, phone or tablet devices.”
This deal comes only about a week after the Unibet Group shareholders voted in favour of changing the company name to Kindred Group, in a move they hope will “improve synergy, clarity and flexibility around the group’s multi-brand strategy.” The company started trading under the new name today, on Monday, December 12, 2016.
